Varieties of Coffee Beans

The green-hued beans arrive from various countries, each with different characteristics that are combined to create a strong, rich coffee blend with a full and unique flavor.
Among the dozens of different varieties of coffee plants, there are two main varieties:
Arabica is the most popular variety and comprises some 75% of global production. We at Aroma import the finest Arabica beans to Israel. This variety’s delicate beans are optimal for producing a sweet flavor and rich aroma. Brazil is the primary grower of Arabica, which requires dedicated cultivation and careful processing.
The Robusta variety comprises around 25% of global production. Vietnam is the primary grower of this variety. Robusta is less delicate than Arabica and better able to withstand variable growing conditions. It also has more caffeine than Arabica.
